Description
After i received this awesome LEGO set (7292 - Propeller Adventures) at my birthday, in a short time, i started to build the assembly. However, simply construction was not enought for me, so i suddenly decided to model in SolidWorks all of the parts of this twin-engine beauty. Maybe, the main reference for this set was the legendary british medium bomber and night fighter, DeHavilland Mosquito.
First step was to measure and note all of dimensions, but the tricky job was to estimate the fillet radii. Anyway, the modeling of parts was not an easy task. I mean, for basic bricks was not a diffucult job to do, but some other pieces required some surface modeling knowledge. After all, it came out nicely, so i created a render in S.W. as well. Hope you like it!
